The UK has been blanketed in snow, travel disruptions, freezing cold and plenty of fun for all those off school and work 🙂
It’s the second time this week it has snowed and it’s floating down now as I type. Its been quite nice enjoying the snow in Luton as where we live is fairly quiet and the settled snow is a lot deeper than what I’m used to seeing in London.
What is even nice is that not many people on our road seemed to have left their houses so when we did venture out it was crisp and clean! I had fun stomping around leaving my footprints in the fresh soft snow.
We went for a walk and tried not to fall (but as the snow was soft that wasn’t too hard). We saw some brave ladies walking around in heels!
And another walk later on too
The kids had fun at mums house making snowmen in the garden, a thumbs up from them 🙂
We attempted to start a snowman the other day but as the snow was too soft we made a pile and are waiting so we can finish it off (hopefully in a bit…I’ll update the snowman if and when we are finished).
So far I’ve made us some pasta, comfort food is perfect for a wintery cold snowy day like today.
I particularly like the comic side that people find in snow, here’s some examples that made me giggle 🙂
Two feet of snow fell outside
This is so true….
Anyway I hope everyone is enjoying the snow while it lasts and the time off work or school. Whatever you do keep warm, stay safe and have plenty of fun. X
P.S we made a snowman in the end! Best one I’ve made yet 🙂
